Our 17th Annual Fundraising Gala Event was held Saturday September 29th, 2018 a the Fairview Marriott in Falls Church, VA. With the live band Pearse Abbey for music the crowd was dancing up a storm throughout the evening. An autographed Oveckin jersey was sold at live auction, and the silent auction was a hit, selling over 50 items. Approximately $2000 was raised for our future missions in General Santos and Davao, Philippines in Feb 2019 and Guatemala in 2019. All the proceeds from this gala night will go towards the delivery of much needed surgical and medical services and supplies to the indigent residents. At the conclusion of the mission, the unused supplies are donated to the hospitals and various organizations that care for the under privileged communities.
